This is the start of me chronicling my attempts to better myself, starting with something called the Slow-Carb diet, something i read about in Tim Ferris's book, 4 Hour Body.  Following his advice in this book, I intend to lose some fat, gain some muscle, and generally better myself.


i have no accurate way to measure body fat as of right now, so i will be measuring progress with inch measurements.

I am actually an athletic person, im just an out of shape one XD  I am a collegiate rower, and if i intend to go any farther with my team, i need to lose some of this weight. i am setting a goal for myself of 200 lbs, which  i know will take some time to achieve. my reasoning for this blog is a not only as a way to keep track of the changes, but as a way to keep me going. feel free to leve positive comments below :)
